Congrats to the Dee Teers who patiently waited the 25 months 'between drinks' and thanks to Mike Lecesse and his barn for taking Sable on. Thanks too to Jaime Rodriguez -- who used to ride the filly in the mornings often when he was downstate as a bug under Tommy Cordero -- for nice work in the irons. The best hop is the drop as they say and she ran well on top of it. Felt good to see her pose for a photo again. Glad Hoff and (I think) Swale were there in the circle.

Very happy for the entire Dee Tee team! Very cool to see her dig in and fight for the win! (Despite Tony Calo's mispronunciation of her name!)

They should give a breathalyzer or drug test to the person who made her 20/1 on the morning line.

Never mind the edge on numbers, maybe the linemaker feared the form of the horse would deteriorate leaving the potent Sciacca and Studart connection.

I was watching the live stream and track handicapper Dave Mattice was previewing the race paddock side with the current odds posted. He said "Number 5 is Ausable Chasm at 2 to 1, not 20 to 1."

That 50 BSF is rock solid.. The stylish filly should dominate the conditional 4's running those figs

You can see she was a length faster than the other 6F filly race which was NW3 Y+. She still has her NW3L and NW4L conditions ahead of her. At what level she'll tackle these conditions we'll see. There's some tough fillies @ FL but her conditions favor her and the spirited filly got a hard earned confidence boost.
