Not a fan of the BC at Churchill in general though. Too many horses that love or hate the surface. JMO.

Steve, a question for you. Looking at the Brisnet PPs for the Sprint and the F&M Sprint, they have the distance for the Sprint as 6F and the F&M at 7F.
Is that a mistake or the way it's supposed to be? Seems like it should be the other way around.

Correct. Sprint is three quarters. F&M is seven eighths.

Note, Dream Tree out of F&M Sprint..

Default XY Jet out

Thanks for the news Steve, but Shoot! He was going to be a big part of my exactas and tris and I think overlooked.

That leaves Promises Fulfilled a chance to control the pace, no?

Steve did the Breeders Cup give any reasons for moving Turf Sprints to 5.5 fr from the 5 that they usually run at Churchill?

Didn't hear one other than the logical assumption that the extra 110 yards gives the outer posts a better (fairer) chance. Plus, with the variety of Turf Sprint distances run around the world (5f, 5.5f, 6f to 6.5 downhill at SA to 7f straights here (BEL) and abroad, etc., it feels like a happy median.
