Default The Chargers are special

Did anyone happen to see two of the Chargers four fumbles today?

* on one, a rookie catches the ball for a 30 yard gain - falls to the ground untouched - and thinking he's still playing NCAA ball ... he sets the ball on the ground .. where it lays without a whistle blowing .. until a Pats defender finally jumps on it.

* on the other, Rivers throws a backwards pass to Jacob Hester - he drops it - and just lets the ball lay on the ground for literally three or four seconds. No whistle has blown, all the players on the field are standing around. Pepper Johnson is freaking out on the New England sideline - when finally a New England player dives on the ball and lays on it for two full seconds. The Refs STILL haven't blown the whistle - so the New England defender gets up and runs the ball back 70 yards before finally being tackled at the 5 yard line.

I've never seen two plays like that in my life... where guys don't even know simple rules & are oblivious to a live ball just laying on the ground.

San Diego dropped 8 passes, lost the turnover battle 4-0, outgained New England 363-to-179, held Tom Brady to 6-for-16 for 32 yards passing with 3 sacks in the 1st half, New England's leading rusher for the game had 11 carries for 24 yards, and still they only lost 23-20 with their last second field goal hitting the post.

This is the single most retaded team in NFL history.

Here are the final scores of the other times in which the Patriots have won the turnover battle by 4.

2010:
NE 41 Miami 14

2009:
NE 31 Jets 14
NE 59 Titans 0

2008: (Matt Cassel year)
NE 41 Broncos 7
NE 47 Cardinals 7

2007: (They actually beat the Dolphins 28-7 after losing the turnover battle 4-0 this season)
NE 52 Redskins 7
NE 34 Browns 17

2006:
NE 40 Texans 7

2005:
No games

2004:
NE 41 Steelers 27 (AFC Championship game at Pittsburgh)
NE 29 Bills 6

Congrats Chargers ... you'd actually be a decent team if you weren't the dumbest team I've ever seen.

Ryan Fitzpatrick looked ok on the road this week - against the Ravens defense that Brady throw 1TD and 2 INT's against at home last week. I think Fitzpatrick had like 380 yards and 4 TD's.

Dog racing, harness racing, and even Jai Li are all better games to bet than freaking football.

the curse of the norv. take a good team, hire him as head coach, and watch it all fall apart. he just can't help it. the guy is an amazing coordinator but a godawful head coach.

but i thought the worst disgrace of the day was denver.
