Default George Mason - VCU

Anyone watching this? I've never seen anything like that. GM up five and back to back possessions the point guard gets ripped and Mayner goes the other way for a basket (once getting fouled for the three point play). Now he just hit an impossible shot to put VCU up two.

Plus throw in an intentional foul against GM, Thats what makes hoops
in March so great. Looks like GM had the game in the bag with less than
a minute left, wait VC gets March Madness Bid

Yup, I love these small conference tourneys. I'd love to watch Gonzaga-Santa Clara now but I'm a huge Siena fan so am watching that one. What happened to putting the WCC title game on at midnight?

It was hard to watch a team play that tight in the last five minutes...the pressure really got to them. Oh well, good luck to VCU. They should consider giving Old Dominion a bid out of the CAA as well...I can hear Jim Nance crying already.

You think they would have a bigger audience watching
that game at later time being teams from the west coast by
putting it on 8pm pst. But who cares what we think.

Absolutely would have loved for George Mason to get into the tourney because every bonehead would have picked them, and they would have lost first round....this year will be all chalk I bet becuase everyone is talking about how hard it is going to be

It wouldn't surprise me if this winds up the year where all four #1s make the final four or something but it will not be all chalk. There is very little to separate the 4s from the 13s this year. Just about every first round game not involving a 1-3 seed is going to be very competitive and at least one or two of the 1-3 seeds will go down first round. Who wants to be the 4 seed that draws Gonzaga first round?
