Default single day travers reserved seats

Been going to the Travers for past 10 years..started off dealing with nyra direct which was great, then Ticketmaster took over which sucks. Tix go on sale may 2 and the way in reading on the nyra website single day reserved Travers seats will only be available in a weekly plan? This cant be right? Am I reading this incorrectly? Anyone know? I reached out to nyra and nobody followed up

Please note:
•Reserved seats for the 150th running of the Runhappy Travers on Saturday, August 24 are available exclusively through the purchase of either a weekly or season ticket plan.

It's rather easy to purchase tickets on the walk from the scalpers outside and in my experience are reasonable, unless you have a superstar which is possible the tickets go at a small premium to face or below face outside the 1/16th pole in the clubhouse.

Are you allowed to use the term scalpers anymore?

It's a market, and IF the market rejects the practice NYRA will be forced to amend if the market is strong enough why wouldn't a corporate use it's STAR attraction to increase revenue? This is how business works. It has nothing to do with sucking your patrons for money because nobody HAS to buy anything. It's not a tax.

One of the best parts about Saratoga was that with a little effort one could get a great seat at the track for the cost of admission which was a bargain. I guess this is still possible, but the good spots are fewer and fewer. Mook Village shade tree is gone and bushes replaced the best spot in the track.

I know you had that tree cut down and those bushes planted.
