I can't figure it out. Why would anyone hire Millen as an analyst? The man was an absolute buffoon as a general manager. Why would anyone value his insight? It's like when ESPN had Steve Phillips as their expert. If he's such an expert, why can't he get a job within baseball?

i can't stand matt millen, and don't understand why espn hired him. but then, i don't understand a lot of what espn does.
