Mike Welsch ‏@DRFWelsch: Javier Castellano has picked up the mount on Gentlemen's Bet in wide open BC Sprint. He'll have final work at CD on Sat. a.m.

David Grening ‏@DRFGrening: Change of plans for Graydar. He is now going in BC Dirt Mile NOT BC Classic . He just worked 1-2 in 49.60 with Vitoria Olimpica.

Tactical quandary for Pletcher now with both Verrazano and Graydar together in D-Mile...

Points Offthebench euthanized on track after going down this morning. Mike Smith OK physically. Hearts go out to Tim Yakteen and the connections. Beyond sad.

Not crazy about the time between races, but I liked Pants On Fire's last race a lot. Will likely use Hymn Book and Brujo de Olleros too.

Just watched Chriselliam's last race. Definitely be using her in JFT.

And if Santa Anita was poly Fed Biz would have to be an include in the DM, on dirt not so sure?

In other words....we finally settled on an excuse to not run a horse that had no shot, and would have devalued himself with his performance.

Yep. I'm an outsider in that regard, who doesn't hear much, but quarter crack or not, the Cigar Mile was always the right spot, with the way both the Dirt Mile and Classic came up. I'm sure Pletcher had to feel that way.

I'm amused by all the people who liked him in the Dirt Mile at what certainly wouldn't have been all that much of a price.

Old Time Hockey ran second by 2 lengths to Golden Ticket as a 3 year old on dirt. I think he can post a mild upset in the Marathon.

I'm not sure if I want to use Secret Circle or not. He's talented to doubt, but has the obvious question marks. Race seems to be setting up well for Justin Phillip.

Great ride by Mike Smith in the Marathon. When he's hot, he's like money in the bank.
