Joss Whedon post over at Whedonesque...he saw the video shown on CNN where a young woman was beaten to death for being with the "wrong man". This is a feminist rant and I agree with every word, may seem strange after I post the vid of the John Rambo movie but I'm far from desensitized to violence...this is a good read (as always from Joss).

I saw this the other day. It's disgusting. Honor killings seem like a pretty dishonorable act.

It's an extreme case of course but the dehumanization of half the human population has been going on forever and someday perhaps we'll step out of ignorance and put a stop to it...unfortunately the beliefs are so ingrained into modern society that folks (men and women) often don't see the disease for what it is!
