Default Question, In Virginia

Do they have a law that says that you can be fined if a cop hears you swear?

Also, do they fine speeders something like $70 a mile for each mile over the speed limit?

Reason why I ask is this cat was telling me that when he lived their last year he had a $750 speeding ticket and after the cop gave it to him he said **** and the cop then tagged on another $40 fine for cussing.

not sure about virginia. but i do know of a man who flipped off a cop who passed him going in the other direction. the policeman turned around, put on his lights, pulled the guy over, and wrote him a ticket or arrested him-can't remember which. case went to the supreme court, where they ruled it was free speech, no law broken.

freedom of speech does not give you the right to yell "movie" at a crowded fire.

it was a trick post.

you actually want to yell "movie!".

all the really stupid people sit down for previews.

just keep coughing "excuse me" through the smoke until you reach safety.

The only decent thing to come out of Virginia during the 20th century was Secretariat.

Up until recently, interracial marriage was against the law. Amazingly enough, I think the law was finally struck down in 1971.
