Default Magna Fortuna

A pretty neat story of how a mare was saved from slaughter and was unknowingly in foal to a Magna Graduate colt. They named him Magna Fortuna

The person that is behind this (Gail Vacca) is the person that is our go to if we have to retire a horse. She still has Colonel Klink on her farm and has been responsible for adapting out Fading Light and Surfer Rosa to their forever homes.

Very good, very passionate woman.

Was a big run. Very happy for Gail Vacca as that is who we use to adapt out the horses that we want to retire. Its an unbelievable story and hopefully this will help the facility gain alot of donations

Court Battle Sullies Feel-Good Story of Rescue Racehorse, Magna Fortuna

Quote:
What began as the well-publicized story of a miracle foal that made it to the winner’s circle in support of responsible ownership has turned swiftly into a cautionary tale featuring court hearings, allegations of trespassing, and bitter infighting between some of the horse’s connections.
What a shame.

I've thought about investing in a horse partnership, but I wonder how often things like this happen?
