Sleepy Eyes Todd...that was a bad 3rd at Fonner. Seems to be asking a lot of that horse in a short period of time. I hope they didn’t squeeze the lemon completely dry.

Do you have the Beyer for Flightline in yesterday’s seventh at SA? Pretty impressive debut for Sadler trainee.

He's at his best as a late running sprinter. Hopefully the connections recognize this before the end of his campaign (like I thought they did last year).

This is becoming ridiculous. He ran yesterday, four weeks after running in Dubai and nine after Saudi Arabia, in an $82K race at Fonner? Wow

Where does he rank on the list of AEs if there are a few more defections from the Derby? Wheel him back in a week and strike while he’s in good form.

I presume it was "Sleepy Eyes Todd Day" or something at Fonner Park.

Sadly, last year he had over 60 days between races when he won the race, with his previous start in Louisiana. Barely got a 4-week break this go 'round...

Wonder how having the East Coast version (First Captain) will affect the decision making? Seems like Kosta controls Flightline & West Point Flight Captain.

Flightline (Tapit/Feathered) bred by Jane Lyon. Owners: Kosta Hronis, Siena Farm, Ms. Lyon & West Point.

Flight Captain (Curlin/America) bred by Bobby Flay. Owners: West Point, Flay, Siena & Woodford.

I forgot about that horse's win yesterday. The most likely is the 'He's By Tapit' campaign. Steady progression in distance and assured of 4 to 5 horse fields until the Travers...

I was at Fonner yesterday, and Sleepy Eyes Todd getting beat cost me the pick 5. I was hoping Olesiak would just put him on the lead and not mess around, but I knew when they came by the first time he probably wasn't going to win, and then the fact he couldn't even hold 2nd is a sure sign he needs a break, so hopefully he gets one.
