I read some of the tributes people put on twitter.

Spike Lee had a funny one. He said his mother took him to the movies as a child. In one such foray, he asked his mother, "Why do they call that lady ***** Galore?" His mother replied, "Shut up and watch the movie."

Daniel Craig said "wherever he has gone, I hope they have a golf course" referring to the fact that Sir Sean liked the game a lot which he had discovered in one of his movies. Struck me as strange that a Scotsman would have to discover the game in a movie. Sort of like a native of Louisville suddenly discovering horse racing.

Roger Moore reportedly was a good friend. He said that Sir Sean was the best 007. He was so right.

Those movies with their over the top villains like Goldfinger and Dr No and beautiful women like Ursula Andress(Honey Ryder) and Honor Blackmon(***** Galore) were a lot of fun.
