Yeah, I decided to not be lazy after posting that question and looked up the top beyers for 2YOs on DRF and Murray ties for the 15th highest figure. Echo Zulu and Wit, who both ran 2 weeks ago, were much faster.

I think there's a knee jerk reaction when it comes to Baffert regarding a lot of things....and one is that all his 2YO winners are somehow future stars. Despite what a lot of people want to suggest, most go on to do very little, just like maiden breakers for most trainers. It's very hard to advance a horse's career for a whole variety of reasons.
