Good luck arguing with someone who doesn't have the education to admit when he is wrong

She failed her biggest test just like Zenyatta. Just don't you dare say the same about Easy Goer though

The problem with all the Songbird detractors is that they apparently don't study pace, where she had a huge advantage. What was Smith supposed to do when clear by 2-3 lengths down the backside? Push the button?
The pace was slow because she made all the pace and no one wanted anything to do with her up there.

So Larry Jones sent Chatterbox in there just to "ride shotgun" and make things tougher for Beholder? Is that what you're REALLY suggesting Andy?
lolol
Did we watch the same race? That's exactly how it played out.

Zenyatta LOST her biggest test she didn't FAIL. You could argue the same today with Songbird. She should lose nothing just because of half a nose. Two champions. No need to knock either. Great race.

Hoped she would have stayed unbeaten. Tough to lose that way. She showed a lot of guts today.

It was a fantastic race!!! I was cheering down the stretch for both of them! I wanted Beholder to go out a winner but at the same time it was hard to not appreciate the heart and desire of Songbird, I hope the filly thinks she won as she lost NOTHING in defeat, sometimes it's nice to just sit back, forget race dynamic, speed figures and money wagered and just enjoy the horses giving their all for our enjoyment and their love of running.

With races like the distaff, one could only wish that Tom Durkin or Trevor Denman could capture that moment in words instead of high pitch stuttering Larry. Even The track feed commentators described the event as if they were watching the rose parade. Zero enthusiasm.

They would have at least had the decency to call it too close to call.
Songbird won the race. Watch the replay. Unbelievable that you mooks can't see it. Have you watched headbob finishes and on the replay say 1..8, 1..8, 1..8?
Have you ever said out loud...." I wanna see that photo" ?
So just because Larry Collmus ridiculously called beholder it's true.?
They took so much longer to put up the Lady Eli nose decision that was not nearly as close. It's a conspiracy. Watch the replay . Songbird won the race. The photos in my avatar are right from my tv. They don't lie.
