electrical? i'm just curious since all i'd ever heard was he keeled over dead suddenly and they thought heart attack.

[quote=Merlinsky;886983]Ahmed Zayat just tweeted this: "Paynter update.; just got this from Dr. Javsicas "he is eating fresh grass and more playful " whatever works!"

that's a good sign. hope it keeps getting better.

saw an update on drf that he's improving, but the first comment at the end of the article (about an hour ago) said zayat tweeted something about paynter not having a good night, and keep praying.
anyone hear anything? the article made me hopeful, but that comment pretty much crushed that optimistic feeling.

edit~looked on drf just now, that article i saw earlier today is gone. now i'm really concerned.

The thing with colitis is they get better and worse often with no warning either way. They can have a stable temp and appear to be rehydrating and a few hours later spike a fever back to 104 and look terrible. The treatment is pretty rudimentary in that there isnt any elaborate way of dealing with it, mostly giving them IV fluids and banamine to control the temp. This may be simplifying it to a degree but there just isnt a whole lot that you can do for them.

While i feel badly for the colt himself, i have no such feelings regarding Ahmed Zayat.

I will never forget that he and Mr Allen (owner of MTB) were conspiring to keep Rachel Alexandra out of the Preakness. Despicable and classless, as was his wussy backtrack when interviewed on TVG. "I was looking out for the filly's well being"...GROAN.

Now, every nice horse Zayat has had since then has gone down to injury; this one may die.

Some may think finding pleasure in the demise of the above horses is equally if not more classless. Just sayin.

It could be a bit of a stretch to extrapolate that he finds pleasure in the troubles of those horses, based solely on him stating his dislike of Zayat.

you think that because he attempted to keep rachel out of a race, that all this is occurring to the horses-who had nothing to do with rachel?? interesting.

It's nice to think that but there are far too many cases of scumbags being successful to counter that Disney logic of karma.

Including Disney himself!

Uh oh, I hope Riot doesn't start posting articles about how great a man he was.

absolutely.
bad things happen to good people, and good things to bad people. it's just life, and unexplainable-and many don't like unexplainable!

Yup!

However, until a peer reviewed medical journal states he was off his rocker, he was a great man!

And still might be in the future!

But you had to unload your bile, while condemning others for it.

You think Paynter reads the board and is upset about the way the thread unfolded?

Yes, my statement pointing out rudeness was "filled with bile". And you are yet another example. Thanks for proving my point.

You're welcome.

Whether you realize it or not, your posts all drip with bile, because you suck.
