She was my favorite in the sale also based upon pedigree....
How much do you think she will go for?????
Would like to run her two turns on the green....

Another one of my faves is the Yonaguska colt. I think that Yonaguska will do big things.

girls, look for a geezer with one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel...
ok, hip 201 is the first tonight. http://www.fasigtipton.com/catalogs/2006/0812/201.pdf

City Zip, the 1/2 brother of Ghostzapper did not have any in the select sale. a decent bottom line although graded stakes winners are hard to find in the immediate family but further down we have 3 reines de course. they have crossed Raise A Native, 4x5.
this is a very respectable pedigree.

hip 202 a colt by Jump Start http://www.fasigtipton.com/catalogs/2006/0812/202.pdf
another nicely bred offering from Gallagher's Stud. no shortage of black type on the bottom line and 6 lines of La Troienne, 2 from the dam offererd to the Slew top line. Slew like La Troienne.
solid pedigree.

hip 203 is the first yearling for sale from new sire Say Florida Sandy, the legendary NY runner that racked up 33 wins in 98 starts.
http://www.fasigtipton.com/catalogs/2006/0812/203.pdf
After Sam has a 4x5 Buckpasser cross which results in a profound La Troienne influence. SFS has a strong La Troienne pedigree himself. Solid bottom line. solid pedigree, imo.

hip 204 a filly by Van Nistelrooy is tail female to Plucky Liege. you see her in ALL the pedigrees, lol, but rarely bottom line.
a very nice pedigree http://www.fasigtipton.com/catalogs/2006/0812/204.pdf

hip 205 a colt by Distant View. this is a Northern Dancer,Native Dancer influenced pedigree, but not excessively so. the family is not overwhelming but the 2nd dam, Full Card was a powerful producer including G1SW Officer's Ball.

hip 206 a speed oriented colt by Distinctive pro. http://www.fasigtipton.com/catalogs/2006/0812/206.pdf
closely inbred to Mr Propsector 2x3 and 3 Miss Dogwoods (3rd dam Mr Propspector) this is one for the Mr Propsector fans. the bottom line is the weakest of the first 6 offerings although 4th dam Duc's Tina is the dam of millionaire Dave's Friend (76s, 35w)...2nd dam Future Friend (75s, 13w) shows soundness, and dam Allens Girl has produced some stout, if unspectacular, runners..

207, a colt by young classic sire Wheelaway http://www.fasigtipton.com/catalogs/2006/0812/207.pdf the family is Chilean with black type from there.

210 is the first of the yearlings from a top 100 sire, this one a Lemon Drop Kid filly http://www.fasigtipton.com/catalogs/2006/0812/210.pdf
5 grade 1 winners on the bottom line, 4 reines de course. 3x4 Seattle Slew, 3x4 Nureyev, 4x5 Buckpasser, 5x6 Somethingroyal... this is young dam's Attagal's 2nd foal...if she had produced black type this pedigree is in the select group. this one could be session topper if filly vets ok.

211 is a colt from the first crop of Hook And Ladder. http://www.fasigtipton.com/catalogs/2006/0812/211.pdf
they've crossed Mr Prospector, Northern Dancer, Native Dancer. not very creative, and a standard approach to breeding.

212 is from top 100 sire Hennessy. http://www.fasigtipton.com/catalogs/2006/0812/212.pdf
a typical Storm Cat/Mr Prospector cross giving a 4x6 Northern Dancer and 3 Native Dancers.

214 http://www.fasigtipton.com/catalogs/2006/0812/214.pdf features the apparently popular Secretariat cross. in this one you get 3 Secretariats, 3x4x5.

211 gives you Mr P through Fappiano (Raise a Native).
Should be interesting to see how this one does.

205 went for 45k...good buy. 206 15k, 207 17k, breeders are not making any money on the last 2. 208 21k, the breeder did not get rich on this one either. 210 is out. 211 40k. 212 35k. 213 out. 214 9k. 215 late scratch. 215 14k...breeders are taking a beating. 217 62k an Officer colt. 218 out. 219 Yonaguska starts at 50k. ends at 92k. 220 45k for an Aptitude. 221 a Hussonet 80k. 222 out.
