Default Retirements ~ 2015

I can't do this horse justice but maybe this will help... it's from The Informant (NZ), which Ed writes for, and is about a horse he is an owner of...

The lovely Pinzaara.

http://www.theinformant.co.nz/racing...-on-the-planet

Her swansong was in the G1 Sistema Railway today.

Saying she bows out with a record of 5-8-4 from 39 says nothing about what a great horse she's been to follow and root for and how exciting it's been seeing her progress.

Wishing her a long, happy and healthy life and lots of fast kids.

I wish Ed would do this but since her number 1 fan is this is my favorite win of hers... from October of this year at Ellerslie beating a VERY tough crowd!

Happy retirement!

I'll miss him and it's sad the way his connections have fallen out, but he really has done enough. Enjoy your rest, old boy.

This one's not surprising, because she'll be having a baby soon...

Zennista.

http://www.theinformant.co.nz/racing...im-at-Thorndon

53 starts for nine wins, nine seconds and six thirds.

She won the G3 Sofitel Stakes (twice) and Tauranga Stakes (beating Veyron) as well as three Listed races.

She was placed in the G1 New Zealand Oaks, the G2 Brisbane Cup and six other stakes races.

Well he hasn't retired yet but, since he will be at the end of the jumps season thought it would be alright to stick this here...

Short and sweet... on the legend, A.P McCoy:
