brutal trip by Whitney Valls on the 5 Windy Cafe in the opener. Went off at a surprising 11-1 considering she was a head back of the co-posttime favorite Kiruna and lost an iron in the stretch last time out... Thought we could sneak one by 'em, horse clearly didn't like being in that tight but she wouldn't let that stop her from trying to impersonate Borel.... horse finally gets a seam along the rail and hangs, tail swishing in the wind :

I don't see it, Kev... Spanish Steps are usually an auto-toss for me at Tampa anyway, so I really tried to dig into this one, just can't find the love... I do love Technically Wicked here at a phat number...

Nice! I just had a couple of early spot plays... was really focused on the late P4, but may have to play the P5.. after 2 races, the front still seems to be holding
