Default Day 2

Wednesday Late P4:

R6)
1 San Valentino 12-1 G. Bennett claims this one back going for his 5th straight SCR-Stewards
2 Best Westerner 2-1 Mandy Ness takes over; ran well over dirt first off; converted turfer fits and... uhhh... well, the jokes pretty much write themselves
7 Steiner 6-1 Suf charge in for lowest since being offered here last in a conditioned win. 1/2 length back of Gimmearoutine in his last who was post time fav on Saturday before being pulled up in the stretch

R7)
3 Pay the Man 8-1 Has rattled off 5 consecutive OH restricted stakes victories and looks to be in career form
5 Beso Grande 3-1 Trujillo takes the trip up the pike for this one; off since a terrible trip in the G3 Azalea, fires fresh and has the class SCR-Trainer
4 It's Me Mon 5-2 Suf shipper in off a career race and a freshening
7 Bessie M 3-1 Toss the slop try last and should tower over these if she's right SCR-Vet

R8)
9 Reba's Affair 5-2 Gets back on the grass and can wire for Scace
8 Butterdish 7-2 Will be coming late and has face much tougher
4 A E Phi Sensation 6-1 Bred to like the grass; 2 bullets coming in; Rosemary can be deadly on the lawn

R9) Tricky bunch...
5 Adriatic 5-2 Race 3 back at 6 1/2 was full of trouble; much the best until herded and fanned wide into the stretch for Mdn 16000; should have no trouble here, but single an 0 for 14 maiden in a 12.5k at your own peril...
8 Dazzle Me Danny 12-1 Need to go back to July to find his last effort at the distance over a fast track; missed the break and still rallied wide to get a piece; last race @ 7f produced 3 next out winners - dangerous
7 Eurosaint 9-2 Firster with a string of impressive works; RAjr get the mount SCR-Vet
4 This Guy 10-1 Looks to improve in his 2nd start after a troubled trip last; sports a bullet work over the track coming in

1,2,7//3,4,5,7//4,8,9//4,5,7,8

72.00

Gotta rework post-scratches - on the bright side, doesn't look like the weather that was forecasted is going to impact the card

Good luck Everyone

I guess you hate my pick 3, I dont have either of your top 2 in the 8th and Im 5 deep. Im stongly against the 8,9 in the 8th. I just dont see much to like about either, then I see 3 or 4 horses with upside.

Ness's bride. Pretty sure he will be using the good stuff to make sure she wins with her first starter.

When you have a large stable -- having a girlfriend who works in the racing office is a tremendous and incredibly unfair advantage if you ask me.

Hey Mike and Dan, they don't start 1 mile turf races in the chute, do they? Formulator is showing the 8th race starting in the chute

They started 1 mile races on the stretch last year. The only races started in the chute are 8.5f and 9f.

She's the former Mandy McKeever. I'm sure you remember her from her riding days.

I absolutely remember her.

More importantly, what do we do with Proctor in the 5th? All the way from 50k to 16??

I'm with you Mike, He knows he can steal this because no one claims these types here... opens up the door for some starter alw's if he can be held together... Clearly nothing in this field has faced the likes of what he has in CA and run well to...Don't get the blinkers on deal, but whatevah... Gotta use and expect the worse...

I like the 9 Dickie Wonderboy myself and the 6 HMS Anniversary for mah boys Bernell and Butler - horse ran a career best going dirt to turf here last year.

sorry Joe, went to bed...didn't see your ticket, but I'm the last person to judge... 8th race could be anybody, I went with what look to be the 3 most logicals.. the 1 could be a wildcard, though rail draw and talentless jock are huge knocks against that he's going to need to overcome; 2 had average state-bred alw tries in NY, but is back with Waz and you can see what happens when he gets back here with him; 3 & 5 don't care for the breeding and can see what they have in their limited turf tries; 6 maybe, but another NY shipper for the Waz; 7 no turf form, likes to get beat; 10 - no.

If the 11 draws in, I've got to find a way to include, but I'm fairly happy with what I'm going with
