Good to see the boys showed up to play today. Tiger and Dustin put an asswhipping on the WOP and Kraut during the middle parts of their matches

Well Mahan punked out.

Needed to put Tiger against McDowell.

Short of the green on 17. Chump-dicked the second shot...still short of the green. Then missed that putt for par and conceded.

Easy to say this after the fact, and I know Pavin needed to front load some for the early matches, but for God's sake, why would you put Mahan of all guys in the last group.

His wife probably makes all of the decisions. I blame her.

Why not? didn't Mahan play really well at the last Ryder Cup at Valhalla? Playing Stricker first paid off. Mickelson and Woods stunk this year. Woods went 3-1 but that was on the Back of Stricker. They played great today in the middle and kept the match alive...good for them which made the last match mean something at least. I have no problem playing Mahan last at all.

Big difference in home vs. away. Putting a choke like Mahan in that position is a huge mistake. I'm not sure what matches you watched, but in the match that Woods and Stricker got killed, Woods hit some really good shots, especially in the early part of the match, only to have Stricker f*ck up the next one.

Fine....the first two matches Stricker was the better player. I didn't watch the third match. When you're 5 down after 8 I can't imagine either played well shooting 40 on the first nine with a birdie on 9. The first four ball match was all STricker, and a lot of the foursomes was Stricker. Who do you play last if you're the coach?? You have to get to that point to have it mean something when you're down 3. So is it better to put Mahan earlier and have him lose and have match 12 mean nothing?? Mahan was 2-0-3 two years ago and 1-1 this year. 3-1-3 in his history. I don't follow his career closely, he seems like a decent player to me. What is his history of choking. I honestly don't know.

Bubba getting waxed by Jiminez was the match we needed. I get the idea of not putting Mahan last but GMac was probably going to beat anybody. At least Tiger looked like Tiger today. Good effort by the team though.

Bubba was all nerves, and it showed in his putting.
