SIR SLICK!
 151 starts. Only two wins in his last 71 races, but 20 wins in his first 80. 15 stakes wins; six G1 wins. He was asked to run far too many times, and his performance suffered in the last few years. But I hope people remember him for the amazing first half of his career. And I hope he has a wonderful retirement in a nice big paddock.

Oh wow I've been wa iting for this post for literally years just as I know you've waited to write it.
Thank God. Thank you for the only good news this weekend. I hope he has a very long, healthy and happy life and that his fans are able to go and visit him as he has millions worldwide. Absolutely thrilled. Thank you for some of the best racing memories ever.

Since our good Sir didn't get a thread I would feel bad doing one for this one BUT Sacred Kingdom has been retired.
 A brilliant champion,multiple G1 winner and one of the last remaining members of the old guard. I'm sure Sha Tin will arrange an official ceremony for him and will update the HK thread when I hear anything. Very very happy. Brave Kid who, when he started, looked spectacular winning his first 6 in a row and shooting from Class 4 to 1 (HK).
No idea what happened to him, why he didn't seem to do well after that. Nice horse though and one with fans... Hope he gets to go somewhere nice. Happy retirement.

She was very very good, but could have been so much better if she hadn't been so injury-prone.
