Default November 30 Venue Thoughts?

Keeping with the 2YO focus, not sure why but:

1. CD full card with the Gii Golden Rod 8.5f for 2YO fillies and Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes 8.5f both on the dirt and nice 300K purses

or

2. Gulfstream Park full card with a plethora of 2YO stakes races, 6 to be exact. Just for fun, try saying plethora with your best Daffy Duck impression but keep a napkin handy.

Maybe we shorten the cards for either one and throw in the GI Hollywood Derby at DMR?

What say yee?

6 2 year old races at Gulfstream with none of them graded stakes. As Mr. Ed would say "neigh"!

Oh come on, you don't like being Bugs Bunny always finding ways to turn the table on Elmer Fudd??

I prefer Larry Collmus's race call of a race won last August at Saratoga by I'm Elmer J. Fudd. It deserves to become a classic.

You have to scroll down a bit on this link to find the race call, but for any fans of the Wascally Wabbit, it's well worth it.

We probably need another look at the Sackatoga Stables entry Tiz the Law in the Jockey Club at Churchill. He looked like the real deal in the Champagne.

As for the Hollywood Derby, DRF saying 11 entries with 2 of them from Chad Brown.

Have you considered returning to Del Mar for part of their closing weekend? There already were 3 graded stakes on Saturday's card (the G1 Hollywood Derby, the G2 Seabiscuit and the G3 Jimmy Durante), and the cancellation of the card on Thanksgiving Day has caused the G3 Red Carpet to also be moved to Saturday.

The cancellation on Thursday was due to approaching weather, but the same thing happened last week and by Saturday it was rated fast and firm.

I like the Churchill idea and maybe cut the card short a bit to add the Hollywood Derby. I'll post the points and ROI threads as soon the entries are available.

Have a great Thanksgiving all of you, be safe in your travels and lets hope those of us in the snow belt stay warm and cozy. It'll be cold and rainy here in north Texas.
