Default Halter

I haven't seen anyone else address this, but does her halter really say "Predatory Lender"? Is she having an identity crisis?

I love the pictures of her in the round pen - she really looks like she's having a good old time for herself. It is also nice to see a horse outside enjoying some grass instead of all bundled up and standing in 15 inches of snow like they are up here!!

Thanks for the pictures 31

Yes, I believe it really says that.

Good job - could see a name, but couldn't decipher! Well, if by strange chance KNS somehow ended up in the Reddam-sponsored Cash Call Mile at HP next summer, they'd know which halter to leave on her lol...

She's had the "Predatory Lender" halter since when she first arrived at Churchill. Not sure why she doesn't have her own. The real Predatory Lender had a nice win at Churchill this fall.

okay Cash Call Mile was kinda of a bad joke, but yes, the real Predatory Lender is a nice mare.. remember her from CD, just hope she's not wandering around Tampa looking for a halter

Chuck had her claimed away from him this spring.. and wasn't too happy about it. Was Derby Week. She's a very tough mare to train/deal with/ride. I'm sure Cherie can provide insight... Chuck has been trying to find the spot to claim her back.

We'll get KNS her own name plate right away...

yikes there's always a story behind everything in racing - well at least KNS is keeping it warm and getting good use out of until PL hopefully returns to the fold !

Predatory Lender always tried when she ran and usually ran pretty well. Maybe some of her will rub off in KNS. The halter was an extra that they took it to claim KNS and we just haven't changed the name plate yet. I'll have to remind TC to get it changed.

Not really tough but have to keep it light. Getting and keeping weight on her is a challenge.

According to TC & Sox our girl KnS broke her last halter so they've been using the Preadtory Lender one for the time being.
