Default Sumwon's potential boyfriend

Chuck has a couple things to vote on per the website. http://www.deeteestable.blogspot.com/

I wanted to talk about her potential boyfriend. Not a bum among 'em.

Empire Maker $100,000 live foal - I think that his dam is what adds value to the prospect.

Ghostzapper $200,000 live foal - Are there any BC Classic champs that make good sires?

Mineshaft $100,000 - so so. Don't think he has produced any runners of note yet.

Rock Hard Ten $50,000 - this big boy may ruin her but he has a decent profile.

If I had to pay the stud fee I would look for a bargain. I think you are lucky to get it back at auction though. The freshman sires usually drop down after the initial buzz. Look at Point Given & Fusaichi Pegasus. Horses like Benchmark used to be $5,000 may still be. He was the sire of Brother Derek.

what about Charismatic $35,000 or his sire Summer Squall $50,000.

Here's a website that evaluates studs in different price ranges.

RAHY, PLEASANT TAP or SMART STRIKE

Quiet American might be interesting.

Awesome Again, Sunday Silence, Unbridled, A.P. Indy to name a few

those sires are pretty high for her right now. she'll need to win a few stakes before she can be bred to one of those big boys. some of their stud fees are higher than what she's probably worth currently

While I agree AA is a great sire, I never really considered Awesome Again a BC Classic Champion Silly ride on Swain. Lucky Pat Day

I voted for Rock Hard Ten as I want the best time for Sumwon LOL

and who voted that I would likely be kicked out of the track? I've been kicked out of Arlington less than 5 times.

Afleet Alex is a poor cross
Rahy works well in many ways
Smart Strike would make the foal inbred 2x4 to Mr. P which is too close for me
Pleasant Tap works on blood but is probably too big
Quiet American would be 3x4 to Mr. P but would most likely produce a real coarse foal
Charismatic is not under consideration
Summer Squall is dead
Sunday Silence is dead
Unbridled is dead but would be a poor match if we could somehow revive him
Awesome Again is a great match
Kittens Joy is a no because of conformational issues and the fact that I think he has zero shot to be a good stallion

Afleet to Mr P has never worked very well.
I will be surprised if AA is a good stallion

Arch is ok
I am not a big War Chant fan. His horses have been very ordinary and very few handle dirt. He is more like a 10k stallion

So should we send an invite to Rahy for dinner and a movie?
