I love him - but won’t be betting him in his first off the lay-off.

I was just listening to Jeremy Plonk for the podcast for yesterday and he talked a lot about how the race is often won by a favorite. Given that none of the first 4 finishers in the Derby are running this year, I think it’s worth evaluating whether it’s wise to assume the favorites will run well in the race this year.

No way I’m anywhere near the favorites in this one. It’s not like last few years

Agree Billy. There is nothing that says the favorites look good in this. Trouble will be finding the new shooter. Weather looks fine so far.

I really like Owendale. Also like Bourbon War but trying to figure out why exactly they added blinkers.

they want to get BW closer to the front as Pimlico is a speeed traack and he would be too far back without them.

I understand that strategy, I’m just not sure I like doing it in the biggest race he’s ever run. Hopefully he’ll take well to them.

The Preak looks like a competitive field. Not an easy choice for the win spot.

Pimlico, what a **** hole. To go along with the usual obstructions now there are trash dumpsters, tractors, outhouses, box trucks, street cones, fencing lying on the ground. Looks very inviting!

This is how you promote horse racing?

Who ever is in charge of this pathetic scene should be FIRED 1 second after race 14.
