Fl Bred, read back to the top of the thread, it's all spelled out. Basically keep betting an ever-increasing amount until you bust.

There was no show wagering on the race. Sometimes they will do that with a 5-horse field if they think a big minus pool is likely.

So, you're still alive on Round 3. Nice payoff on the 3rd at FL, especially on a 6-5 fav.

Here's a better summary, which mentions that jman is trying to just hit 10 in a row. (not bet until he busts)

After 10, that round is over, I will document the payouts and move on to the next round. If I pick a horse that doesn't show before reaching 10, I will start a new round. I will do this 20 rounds and we will see how it goes. I've said I think I can do this about a third of the time (although that's really just a hunch)...

So far, from the first two rounds, it seems as though I will do well enough just to bet until I bust....

But, yes, to be serious.... 10 consecutive show bets is what I'm going for in each round. The total payout from the previous bet gets bet to show on the next bet. That's all a parlay is.

on Race 8, is the pick going to count if half the entry scratches? I would assume that it would not count, but whatever you say beforehand is okay.

Only if both go. Good question...

But it appears as though one is a rabbit for the other. Guess we'll see...

I've changed my mind....I see no reason not to go with Floater in this one.

Distress Signal scratched. Game on.

If you can nail those 4, you'll have a nice profit for your first 3 trials!
