Lasix-free stakes for 4+.. Spin the wheel!
Texas Wedge (Altimira/P. Miller) bled in the Joe Hernandez on Friday while 4th at 4-1.. Getting turned out.
Pending scope results, appeared even money favorite Count Again (Agave/P. Damato) bled in the San Gabriel when eased off the turn.. It's one thing to start a horse off w/o Lasix and take your chances with their EIPH possibilities, but downright abusive to ask elder horses that have been on it their whole racing career to come off it. How is anyone supposed to bet not knowing who may react poorly to running without? It's ridiculous. And still waiting to hear who is benefiting from the high hat move to push Lasix out.

Quote:
Point remains that form reversals/degradations are going to occur with horses coming off Lasix.
