Default Going Pro

I'm not sure if Ellington will is eligible for the WNBA but will fit in very nicely in the NBDL. Lawson is crazy to go, especially after his lackluster night. Hansbrough showed his real problems last night. He is not an effective post defender against big men and he is lacks the foot speed to guard wings in the NBA. Plus as a rookie he will foul out in 5 minutes if he hacks and shoves the way he has been allowed to in college.

He may be going a year too soon, especially with Rose and possibly Augustine going ahead of him. Of course he may make less money if he falls in the draft but get selected by a better team.

This has been a done deal for a long time

Huge mistake. Far too green right now.

I thought Hansbrough showed why hes really not an NBA type of player last night. I cant imagine him coming out this year.

Roy Williams was terrible, the offensive sets they ran where horrific. They were just a step behind Kansas all the time.

Bayless is leaving too soon, he should stay another year.

Gordon is a stud, who would stick around Indiana with whats going on there.

Earl Clark, Please

Derrick Caracter is also going pro. Here's a hilarious quote from the guy...

"I'm going to go back home to New Jersey for a little bit, and after that, the phones are getting cut off," he said. "It's time to get on my grind. All the doubters who feel I may not get drafted, well, I've been doubted my whole life, so that's nothing new."

So in other words punchy flunked out. He'll be in prison by the time he's 26.

This also explains why a number of these kids leave early.
They actually start making bad grades in tough majors
such as Sports and Leisure Management. So they might
not play in college anyway. School was never their thing.

So save face and declare for the draft.

I'm sorry but after watching eric gordon since he was an freshman in high school, i have to say hes not a stud. He is an above average player but hes very lazy on offense and settles for 30 foot jumpers far too often...

There is no reason for Hansbrough to return to school. He is what he is. He's not going to improve his game any and he's not going to grow any taller. He's a hard working guy with good skills but his effectiveness at the pro level is hard to predict but I don't think another year will make him better.

He can get a degree and prepare for life after his 2 year NBA washout
