A shame really. At 16, she was one of the best ballstrikers I had ever seen in person (man or woman)...and I have seen my share of good ones.

Her ballstriking, IMO, went south before her wrist injury. She started listening to everyone telling her how far she hit the ball...and then started to try and hit it further. She used to have wonderful tempo and great rythm to her swing. Her swing is much quicker and she doesn't get the club set properly at the top like she used to. Leadbetter is a good teacher..but overrated in my opinion. She needs to rely more on her natural feel for the game and he has her more concerned about mechanics. Paralysis by analysis if you ask me. |

Yeah she should've took off when she injuried het wrist. Lefty took off for a while when his was injuried.

Hopefully her time at Stanford will help her mature, and then dump the parents and her coach. Rick Smith next,maybe?
