Default Any DeeTee-ers at Kee Friday?

If any Dee Tee-ers are in Lexington Friday (tomorrow) for the Keeneland meet, a couple of us are going over to Claiborne Farm in the morning to see the stallions (First Samurai, Pulpit, Monarchos, Seeking the Gold, Eddington, etc).

If anybody else would like go, just PM me tonight, I'll give you time, directions, etc.

Wish I was going! Too bad I'm stuck here. I'd love to see Monarchos.

He's pretty sweet, actually. I admit I'm a Horse Chestnut fan, too.

Best part is visiting Secretariat's grave - and all the other key horses there, Blenheim, etc.

Yeah, I went when I was younger and it was awesome... I haven't been since the early nineties, though.

Cajun, sorry, no tail hairs for you (no, NOT from Wing ), they were painting the stallion barn and all the stallions were out - walked around the paddocks and visited all but Monarchos, who was in the farthest out - he looked good <g> Wing got some good photos, hopefully he'll post here. (edit: they are in Esocent - great pics, Wing!)

Sir Gallahad, Gallant Fox, Princequillo, Nijinski, Bold Ruler, Blenheim, Ambiorix, Nasrullah, Swale, Secretariat, Mr. Prospector - walking through Claiborn's cemetery is a lesson in TB breeding history.

At KEE met up with Bill W - had a fun day!
