Compared to some years in recent memory, surprisingly big fields for the Del Cap card. Looks to be a good day.

The Delaware Handicap is a bunch of horses that take turns beating each other, and then there is Rosalind who competed against different horses.

Maybe Rosalind will prove just as average as them, but I think she has a slight class edge.

After trying to handicap the card, my enthusiasm for the field sizes at Delaware has been severely tempered. Outside a few in the stakes races, these are some slow horses (I didn't know it was even possible to run a negative BrisNet speed fig). If anybody hits the pick 5, they are either a genius or one lucky SOB.

This means nothing regarding his chances today, but he somehow got caught 8 WIDE on the first turn last time, in a 3 horse race

Yeah I watched the race. It would matter if the winner wasn't the one who went 7 wide.

Silly of him to make any excuse for Normandy. Why take this horse from Chad? Bad management if you ask me.

Is there a reason why there were so many scratches in the last race at Delaware?

No idea, but Normandy Invasion is burning up some serious money lately.
