ROI Results 2/13 @ Fair Grounds
All and all it was a tough day picking winners at the Fair Grounds with only two cashed tickets
and only one player able to show a profit. Cal hit an exacta in race 12 but the payout was well below the profitability mark. But we did have a winner and a repeat ROI winner as well. That player was Plenilune and when Dalika crossed the finish line first in the 9th Plen led the way into the Call To Post winners circle with a profit of $45. Congrats on the win Plenilune and on your back to back ROI wins. Nicely played. Joly B hit a pick 4 out of his pick 5 with the last to first Captivating Moon ($89) derailing his shot at a nice payout. Can't say there were a lot of close misses other than JB. Hopefully Don Guido's wagers on Whiskey Double and Midnight Bourbon kept him warm in the Arctic land of Texas. Following are the unofficial results pending a brain freeze by the scorer. See you all next week as the Derby Trail continues. WIN... Plenilune... +$45.00... R9 $50 W #7 $5.80 X 25... $145.00 Cal828 -$44.00 R12 $ 8 Ex 1,2,3,4,6//8 $7.00 X 8... $56.00 NJ Stinks -$62.00 Joly B -$96.00 Don Guido -$100.00 Roamin -$100.00 Real Quiet -$100.00 Digger -$100.00 Indian Hemp -$100.00 Ruffian -$100.00 Cruzan -$100.00

I watched the replay of R11 several times and was amazed by Captivating Moon's finish. His jockey must have found the best footing in the middle of the track to come home so well. I really felt that I had the contenders in that race covered for the Pick 5. If only..........

I think you did more than a sweep. I think you also did a repeat in the ROI. I'm guessing you may go to the head of the class in the points tally.
