Default Unless the foul was egregious enough to clearly change the result

https://www.usatoday.com/story/sport...it/1105796001/

"Unless the foul was egregious enough to clearly change the result, the horse that finished first under the wire should stand."

And that was the opinion of most of the industry sycophants on this forum (until they learned the players involved.) It's the players involved that made all the difference. The industry sycophants almost all went with the most popular insiders in the business (Mott, Casse.) If Maximum Security was Mott or Casse's horse, he stays up, and all these industry stooges on here would be singing a totally different tune.

"In other words, stewards disqualified the best horse over an incident that impacted two also-rans while giving the victory to another horse who was never going to win on his own. How does that make sense?"

I can answer this. It's not hard. The 2 trainers wanting the dq, and still bitching, are industry darlings. That's the major factor going on here. People can say it's PETA, and it's a factor. The main factor is the winning trainer, the trainer of the main horse who was said to be fouled, and the trainer of the horse that ran 2nd (the guy the industry wanted put up.) When one looks at the politics involved, the dq makes sense. The dq does not make sense when one looks at the fact that Toddy and W.O.W. had no energy left to get 10f. Out of run horses that are fouled....Every day in this country, these fouls are ignored. We all know it. The reason it wasn't ignored this time is due to the trainers involved. The bias involved here is thick, juicy, and meaty. This is not going away. The political insider bias in this sport has been put out right in front of the world. All the insider industry sycophants can do is keep repeating the same lie.... That "a foul is a foul."

The one thing the connections of this horse have is that these thieves can not get rid of the call of the stretch run. These thieves have to live the rest of their lives with people seeing how this horse repels 2 big moves from other horses. A totally game and determined Kentucky Derby Winner that they've decided to put 17th. Yea, live with your pathetic decision. The rest of your lives.

I spent enough time defending it. Days worth of time. What else is there to say? How long are you going to act like a lunatic cry baby?

It happened. It’s over. Move on.
