What’s even more sad

This is not her first loss
In fact I think she’s lost a few

I remember her losing another Filly
And I think she also lost a Colt

I have 2 ALL TIME FAVORITES

Ironically 365 / 1 odds They are born on the same day!
April 1 and neither one of them is in April fool
Only the people who didn’t bet on them

BLACK TIE AFFAIR
ZENYATTA

I wish they would just retire her from breeding. The foals she's had that did make it to the track were less than expected. She's 17 years old. Just let her live the rest of her life in happy horse peace.

Heck, even Beholder's babies are slow to training and racing. Sometimes mares are great racers, but not so well at producing great racing prodigy. Even Secretariat was better at producing good broodmares rather than racing prodigy, unfortunately.
