Considering the massive spend on Sony and 4K for the World Cup, I figure by the time racing finally does convert to HD, 4K will be widespread.

Telescope was unreal.

Bein Network is absolutely unreal and the races and telecast was simply stunning. Only issue I have is its owned by our friends Al Jazeera Media Networks. I have to give them credit, the network is on a different level they spare no expense, broadcasts and coverage on all of their sports are simply amazing.

Speaking of horses dying... Seems as though 3 horses sadly died at Ascot. No race day meds, no drugs because we all know drugs are not OK in elite european racing specially among Arab connections and on grass to boot the worlds safest surface. Goes to prove its a brutal game right Pat Cummings?

For all those looking for a trip overseas to go racing, I can't recommend Royal Ascot enough - an absolutely brilliant few days of racing, being in the Royal Enclosure is one of life's joys as I am sure the lads from Chicago will concur when they get back - it does help if you have a few winners but if not, you can drink plenty of Pimms

You are so right except for the Pimms

Pictures, descriptions etc. can't do justice to actually experiencing it.

I'll never forget walking into the back gate and being completely speechless.
This after touring Buckingham Palace, St. Paul's, Westminster Abbey etc. the day before.

I hope to make it back next year and see an Arc in the next few years. Hopefully we'll see you at BC.

Oh, and Gordon Ramsey can't even produce a good hamburger
