Good to see the duel Guineas winner back on track after his injury.. I really hope he comes back to somewhere near his best as his owner was awfully sporting to reject a monster bid from you know who, and he is a really likeable colt from a small trainer...

from racingpost!!
COCKNEY REBEL came through his first piece of work with flying colours since recovering from a fractured pelvis.
The English and Irish 2,000 Guineas hero delighted connections in a gallop over seven furlongs on Newmarket's Cambridge Road Polytrack.

It was his first serious exercise since he sustained the injury when finishing a close fifth in the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot.

He is now on target for the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot on September 29.
"He worked really, really well. Michael Tebbutt rode him and he was very pleased with him. It was unbelievable. We were sort of stunned really," said trainer Geoff Huffer.
"He went seven furlongs at a really good pace with his lead horse. He quickened up and went clear in a very few strides.

"He's stronger now and it's looking all systems go for the QEII. We'll step him up now and hopefully everything will keep going as well as it is."
