Wow what a horse. Talent, class, and some serious guts (and drop dead gorgeous, just a perfect face). The thing is Curlin's got talent and class sure, and he could get the mile and a half in good order too, but she won because she was better. I love those races. Neck and neck and the best horse wins. You go Rags! And congrats to Todd and John on their first TC race!

That was one for the ages. If Hard Spun couldn't get 1 3/16 what would think that he would get 1 1/2. If Rags To Riches goes back to racing the girls what would she have to prove? It would be great to see her in the Travers. This puts Street Sense back in the race for 3 Yr Old of the Year. He would of course have to beat Curlin in the Travers.

Congrats to Pletcher...they talked about irony, what they didn't mention (at least while I was watching) was that Pletcher's mentor, DWL ended his long winless TC streak by winning with a filly! Great day for racing!
