I feel as if I've done that for the last several weeks. Picking winners at the Spa is tough but sooooooo rewarding when you do.

Congrats to Steve Asmussen on becoming the all time leading trainer with Stellar Tap in the 5th today.

Also interesting that no one took flyer on Steve Asmussen's horse, Stellar Tap, to win his record setting position of all time leading trainer in America. It was almost a no brainer but . . . almost??? Patty and I talked to him several times, briefly of course, wishing him luck in his earlier racing days Lone Star Park. He always stopped and responded to us in a congenial way.

Sure glad he got a real haircut :

If I ever come back this way again as some seem to think we do, I want to have Steve Asmussen's hair or may Jim Acosta. My own hair vacated my head long ago and it was so terrible and frizzy, I wasn't even upset. Some of you that watch the Fox broadcast probably caught the golf cart interview between Steve and Jonathan Kinchen about hair and other things. Kinchen, I think is a positive addition to the show.

Yes Steve has enough hair for 2-3 people. I still have most of mine but it's as white as snow, has been for at least 10-12 yrs.

What hair I have left is gray. I think it started turning when I reached 40. At one time I also had a beard and mustache. Funny thing about that was my beard and mustache was reddish or blondish which did not match the hair on the top of my head. Can't tolerate a beard anymore. Itches too much. Glad those days when people had bigger hair, side burns, beards and such seem to be over. At least for a while until it comes around again as everything seems to do.
