Do you think if they gave Sanchez time he could execute? My answer to this is no. I wish he would turn into a game manager (like Cassel has this year) and I think he would do himself a wonder of good.

The biggest surprise to me is how the defensive is playing, not just recently but all year. I thought they would be alot better then they have been.

What? Did you even watch the game today? Miami had 6 first downs, 131 yards of offense and 3 turnovers. Short of putting the ball in the end zone, what more was the defense supposed to do?

And I don't understand your question.

A little pedigree analysis none of these players lit it up in the NFL. Why do the Jets think Sanchez will ?

Mark Sanchez,
Carson Palmer,
Matt Leinart,
Sean Salisbury,
Rodney Peete,
Pat Haden,
Matt Cassel,
Bill Nelsen,
Pete Beathard,
Vince Evans,
Paul McDonald,
Todd Marinovich,
Rob Johnson
John David Booty.

Cassel has excelled in a run-oriented system where very little is asked of him.

Consider these stats:

Completions: Tied for 21st in the NFL
Completion %: 21st in the NFL
Yards: 21st in the NFL
Yds per Attempt: 18th in the NFL
Yds per Game: 25th in the NFL

Charlie Weis deserves a lot of credit. He figured out what Matt Cassel is best at, short passes and turning around and giving the ball to someone else.

All good stats Nicholas, but he has 20tds and 4int. I think those are the big stats. His team is in first place, picked by many to only finish ahead of Denver in that division and they have thay homefield swagger back. The offense is young and will only get better, I would take Cassel over Sanchez on my team.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion about taking him over Sanchez, but don't throw a ridiculous stat out there say how's he's a top 5 qb this season. That's garbage.

Unless you are saying that you would take him over 28 other NFL QB's out there. Then it becomes a credibility issue.
