I think it is a terrible thing when people live off of an animals gift. I refer to those people as parasites! It's 2010 and it's time people learn how to live off of their own skills. DROP THE GREED!! Not all horses can run fast enough to win a race without having a heart attack or without dousing them with drugs. No wonder half of the race horses have heart attacks, get scared or panic and break their legs or worse. Horses have devoted their entire lives and trust in us humans for hundreds of years, and this is how we treat them . . . If it wasn't for horses I doubt humans would have ever survived . . . Pretty pathetic if you ask me. We need to show horses love, compassion, respect and let them be!

Once, after I was upset because of the breakdown of a particular horse, someone asked me if they "shoot them on the track or somewhere else". This was actually a very educated individual.

Soooooo I have no idea why I continue to be surprised by idiocy but I do.

I just wondered if anyone had seen this.
