At least I'm not a selfish Conservative. You want to give a prize to Sherril for fkn up our chances? Great. Support people that fail due to nerves they should long ago have dealt with. Looked like a slow 70 year old farmer trying to keep up with real athletes. No dice, fkn unibomber. Amazing how the 2 biggest chokes from last years NLCS (BROX n' Billygirl) weren't even needed to choke this away. Sherril(8th,)Kershaw(5th,) Blake(whole f'n game,) Furcal (6th,) Manny(8TH.) It's pretty hard to win if ya got to score like 9 runs. 7 walks is quite a lil choke effort.

The walks hurt you bad. Sherril did put in a choke job. Ya cant give the PHillies ANY breaks or they will take advantage... thats just how the Phils play October baseball. We had a few choke jobs ourselves. If rollins/utley turn that double like they are supposed to this game would have been easier on the heart. Madson choked it up in the 8th, thank god he only gave up 2.. could have been worse. Looks like the Phils will be pitching fast and inside to Manny the whole series. Lidge looks to have some confidence back though I will never trust him. Hamels pitched well for a few innings and then threw his teammates under a bus and let it mess with his head.. then gives up a big homer to Manny. (did you see Hamels have a temper tantrum when rollins/utley fucl<ed up?) I'm sure as a pitcher you'd be upset but you dont throw your hands up and yell like a baby, you just do your job and eliminate more damage. Cole showed some bad character last night. He hasnt been pitching well all year. I know Charlie wont do it but he deserves a benching for that little act he put on.

The umps were bad but at least they were equally bad for both pitchers. I kinda felt bad for Kershaw for a bit (well not really) but then was over it when I saw the Phils pitchers get the same calls.

Its gonna be a long series Scuds, though it is probably in your best interest to win tonite (I hope Pedro comes out firing - though he hasnt pitched in FOREVER). Its an unfortunate break that you have the PG1985 curse though. He's the guy who deserves a white boat in TN.
