Cha-ching... first turnover -- BUCKEYES! I thought USC linebacker was going to outrun entire OSU offense!

Guess ABC brought 1-1/2 replay cameras -- no down-the-line replay... Good call by refs.

TOUCHDOWN Trojans!

the field goal was the smart call in that situation. Defense playing well, short field and no proven short yardage back. Take the points, play defense and take the lead. Why would you go for it in that situation being tied 7-7 at home?

At the time the SC offense couldn't do anything with the ball. They would have been pinned inside the 5 in the noisey end of the stadium. Show your team that you have some balls.

why though? Its not like you have beanie wells back there to get you the 1.5 yards (its not like it was inches to go). If they stop you there, momentum swings back the other way and it takes the crowd out of it.

Take the lead and win with d...especially at home.

Leaving the offense on the field, would have shown that you have confidence in them to get it done in a big spot. And if they didn't the defense is in a prime situation to make a big play and eventually get the ball back with good field condition. Plus the crowd would have been right back in it as soon as Barkley took the first snap of the drive from the 2 yard line. Especially should have done it, after Pete Caroll did it in the first quarter on the road.

If he was Jim "Touchdown" Tressel, THE Ohio State University would have been WINNER!
