![]() Being a Yankees fan, he reminds me of a young Kyle Farnsworth. And I always end up saying to myself "How can a guy that throws 97 suck so badly!" I guess Broxton is going down that same road and eventually end up in Torre's doghouse ala Farnsworth.

The Dodgers have a distinct lack of power in the middle of the lineup (A. Jones was supposed to help but we know how thats working out) They dont have a really feared hitter to build a lineup around and a guy that can change things in a hurry. Kemp may wind up being that kind of guy eventually but not yet. If he could cut down his strikeouts a bit he could be scary. Ethier and Loney are good hitters but not real power guys. Kent looks like he is done. The big issue for this year is the fall of Brad Penny. He has been awful for a guy who won 16 games the last 2 years. Lowe is getting more hittable which is a bad sign. Kuroda is ok. Chan Ho has risen from the dead but how long can that last. |

![]() Yes, the biggest surprise is not that Broxton is being Jeckyl n' Hyde (this is actually his usual, and we thought 2 years ago that he would eventually take the dress off.) Penny is the surprise. To be honest, there is no way he isn't gunna get hit hard. He is throwing it right smack down the center of the plate. You couldn't get more of the plate, and it's flat. I can't tell ya exactly what's changed ( because Charlie Steiner n' Lyons do the road games

![]() Angels (34-24)....245 runs scored........240 runs allowed
Dodgers (27-29)....249 runs scored.....242 runs allowed All I can say is that mismanagement has fkd up the Dodgers to the point they may never come back. It's beyond me, how they ever chose that cold fish (BILLY RUSSELL) over Scioscia. Billy probably has got his hands full trying to manage his dick pills well enough to get hard once a week. |

![]() The Angels still have some pitchers in the bull pin and are young enough to run the bases.
The Dodgers just dont have the farm system to feed the club like the O"Malleys did. The Dodgers future is just a .500 ball club and they will still draw 3 million. |
