That exacta was awfully short, however. I only had it on a backup ticket for $2 but I was expecting more than $250.

The exacta reflected truer odds of the horses in the race in that the exacta pool was more accurate where most likely Cowtown Cat was closer to 6:5 or 7:5 and thus everyone else was lower.
