Default ESPN's Pat Forde

What a scumbag this guy is. Dara Torres has been tested for over 20+ years with not one single positive test.

That is kinda sh*tty on his part. She's an incredible story. Really enjoyed watching her swim last night.

Also...is Phelps just an absolute freak of nature or what?

And if he does everything properly, he should be just as fast 19 years from now.

Yes, it takes a know nothing to assume Michael Phelps will not be as fast at 41 as he is at 22. I think 99.9999 percent of the people on this board will agree with me that Phelps will not be as fast in the year 2027.

Barry Bonds is clean. He said so.

Torres, Phelps, Lochte, and Hoff are all freaks of nature. Lochte had 16 minutes between the 200 back and 200 I.M and still went two of the fastest times ever recorded. Not to mention he has a bad ankle from a skateboarding accident 5 weeks ago.

What Forde fails to mention is that Torres is swimming against mostly high school and collegiate swimmers. She has an advantage in that her life primarily focuses on training. She spends over 100k/year on a personal trainer and masseuse. She's a FIVE time Olympian and skipped two Olympics or she would've more than likely been to seven.

IMO, she is one of those rare genetic freaks who found the right sport and has excelled through pure talent and hard work. She deserves nothing but accolades and that article was an absolute embarrassment and further justifies my belief that Pat Forde is nothing but a shock journalist and fat, greasy douchebag.

I think Pillow is correct. She has an incredible training
program that is not like the kids. But she does have
a large forehead. Maybe Forde is focused on that melon.

It is quite crazy to suspect an Olympic athlete of using performance enhancers. After all, it has never happened before has it?? How many positives has Bonds had?

So now we're grouping all Olympic sports into one? You're a complete and utter buffoon.

You are the buffoon if you think performance enhancement has not one time occurred in international swimming...ever. I mean COMPLETE buffoon. This of course does not mean Torres drugs, but to think it is an impossibility is completely beyond naive.

I understand your point. But at the same time, isnt it a little irresponsible on the journalist's part to basically accuse her of wrong doing simply because of her success at her age?

He definitley implied to stir up some trouble.
And he accomplished that goal, on here anyway.
