Raccoon Causes Refunds At Woodbine
The actions of an unwanted visitor forced the ORC Judges at Woodbine Racetrack to refund a pair of starters in Race 10 on February 24.
Just as the field was nearing the mid-way point of the opening turn a raccoon ran from the outside of the track and darted toward the infield. Evidently, the total amount of money refunded on the race was $56,327.
