No doubt. The races today are a nightmare. I like to keep the figures as clean as possible, but not sure what point there would be giving the Remsen a 60 either.
I suspect at some point I will move to sliding scales for the value of time and beaten lengths. For example, losing by 5 lengths at 9f in a very slow paced race will count much more than losing by the same distance in a normal paced race. But you still have to give the winner a figure, and that is always going to be tough in these spots.
