Appears to be a big win as there are always going to be a number of qualifiers/buy-ins that can't make the trip to the site. They've typically sent proxies. Churchill head clocker John Nichols was a qualifier, but couldn't go to California for example. But he could zip over to Keeneland to play after training hours.
And since it's a $10k buy-in optional, why limit it to people who have to come to the venue? Next year, it's not going to be easy to stay in Lexington and get in and out of KEE the 2 days, so I'd expect that many more BCBC players will operate from the remotes.
