Do the eclipse awards usually include jockeys, trainers, etc that race in Puerto Rico?
It's almost always the most undefinable (goofiest) category. Stats are North America-wide and interesting that this year there are prominent candidates in Diaz in Puerto Rico and Kimura at Woodbine. Diaz was 9th in total wins among all riders for the year with 200+ which is pretty remarkable. The kid wins races in bunches. Don't think there was a bad choice among the top candidates.. Correa, Torres both worthy too. I threw in Benji since he's competed at the highest level. (And he won 2 races for us!).
