Spieth's par at 18 was huge. What an important up and down that was. If he doesn't get up and down, he only has a 3 shot lead instead of 4. But not only that, it would have been a major psychological letdown to go 3 over on the final 2 holes and go from a 7 shot lead to a 3 shot lead. Making that putt stopped the bleeding. That will make it much easier for him to sleep tonight. You don't want to finish double-bogey, bogey. That par at 18 might have won him the tournament.
